I was keen that the minister witnessed the outstanding community-led effort which has resulted in the refurbishment of the Community Hall. Treowen Community Hall Committee have done incredibly well in raising funds for the hall refurbishment and should be congratulated. Head teacher Carl Hyde, has been instrumental in securing the Flying Start programme at the setting and the achievements show the huge benefits which come from close partnership work between the community and local school.”
